Mount Kisco is expanding its food and drinks scene with the addition of a Georgian restaurant, a taco bar and a craft beer bottle shop and taproom.

The former Hito Restaurant has been turned into a 65-seat restaurant devoted to Georgian food. (Georgia is a European country that sits along the Black Sea.) Expect traditional dishes like chakapuli (lamb slow cooked with tarragon, scallions, herbs and white wine), shkmeruli (slow-roasted Cornish hen in garlic cream sauce), and a selection of charcoal-grilled meats. Also on the menu: khachapuri (cheese-stuffed bread), which is a Georgian specialty. The restaurant, which opened July 1, is open seven days a week; from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday to Thursday and to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday, though hours are subject to change.
